I finally got a few parts for my mower. I replaced the air filter and spark plug. All new oil, and gas treated with something, I forget what, to help clean the engine. The mower is several years old so it needs a little tlc. (tender loving care)

The one thing I really didn’t miss about mowing is the dandelions. It’s not that I mind them on the ground so much but when the dandelion seeds blow up and get in my eyes I really prefer that not to happen. My allergies are bad enough without stiring things up by mowing. And I avoid the poison ivy as much as possible. If I get that I usually have it for weeks, if not longer.

It’s just as sign of the time of year we are in I guess. Dandelion seeds blowing in the air. I hope you are not downwind of us when I mow.

Scratch. Have you ever scratch had poison ivy? If so, I don’t need to tell you scratch how bad it can get. The itching, the pain, the itching, scratch the frustration, the scratch itching, the treatments that don’t work, the itching. . .scratch scratch scratch

When I get poison ivy I get it scratch bad. This time I hit it hard as soon as I knew I had it. Didn’t matter. scratch It got worse. I tried just about everything you can think of. If you are looking for some relief I’ll tell you what to do. Go to your local drug store and buy some Zanfel. Is it cheap? No way. Does it work? Oh yes. Much better than anything else I’ve tried. If you have any jewelweed available (it grows near poison ivy) get that too. Break the plant open and rub it on the affected area. That helps. But don’t stop there. Go get some Zanfel. Follow the directions and you will get relief.
