National Debt Statistics

The national debt statistics are hard to really comprehend.  I’ve heard examples before about laying one dollar bills next to one another and something about the line of dollar bills going to the moon and back.  I’m not sure if that is accurate or not but this video seems to be a great example of our national debt statistics looking at them in a way we can all understand.

I haven’t seen this movie yet but this clip looks very interesting.

So what is the answer?  It begins by getting rid of your debt.

Can you get out of debt without changing your budget, your lifestyle, or your payments?  Find out here.

Update: This just in from from Senator’s email newsletter: (2-10-2010)

You are incredible…truly a gift to all who come in contact with you. Your values, your faith, your family…and yes, your Dad who stands amazed at the qualities I see in my son.

Nothing in this world is perfect because each one of us desires to know “Why?” before we commit to or submit to a value or concept. It has to make sense to our way of thinking and if it does not, then we usually don’t make any changes in our life or belief system.

With each one of us wanting our own way you would think that someone somewhere would ask the question, “How can all of us with differing opinions have everything our own way and to everyone’s satisfaction?”

    Well, we can not.

This is exactly where we need to do what the early pioneers did and turn to God seeking his guidance and blessing for our lives. It’s amazing how many will spend a life time trying to improve themselves and society and never solicit the help of God who started it all.
