Elmers Glue, Super Glue, Crazy Glue

Krazy Glue from the Elmers Glue people doesn’t last forever.  Even in the bottle.  Now I know it’s been sitting around in a forgotten drawer for too long.  But still, it’s never been opened so I was hoping that it would work.  The Instant Krazy Glue was just what I was looking for too.  Maybe.  Let’s take a closer look.  This super glue with skin guard formula claims it does not bond skin instantly.  That’s what the package says.  The container also says skin guard.  But then it says Warning: Eye and skin irritant.  Bonds skin instantly.  No wonder they call it crazy glue.  This bears repeating: For emergency medical information call toll free 1-800-228-5635, ext 022. If they wrote that any smaller on the bottle I would need glasses.  This is just another one of those things where you need to do your homework.  I guess my repair project will have to wait until I get a new bottle.  I’ll keep my rubber gloves and safety glasses ready.

You should try Gorilla glue. Just be careful because it grows as it hardens so don’t use too much and it turns white.

Thanks Lisa. I’ll be on the lookout for it.
