We have odd kids.

We have odd kids.  This is according to my oldest herself.  Michaella has always liked math and she is getting better at it.  She always likes to keep track of her age and the ages of her brother and sisters.  I guess she rounded off a bit because they are not quite 1, 3, 5, and 7.  Noticing that these are odd numbers she promptly said that they were all odd.  I agreed, left the room, and laughed.  By this time next month I will be odd too.  Some will say I already am.

We have kids too – only they are now 22 & 24. Hard to believe – and what a joyful (mostly) experience it has been and still is to be a family. I enjoy following your musings.

Talking about Thinking? Your info is great and makes me think. Love your analogies about saving money and how you bring them into your wonderful business.

Ah! to be young again. I do so enjoy your twittering Steve about the kids. I remember mine when they were little, and now I look at my grand kids and laugh at the silly comments or innocent actions that they perform.
    This is all good Steve.

    God bless.

Funny story! Right now, we have one odd child (1) and one even child (4).

Michaella – Has there even been a better girls name? I think not.

My now ten year old keeps track of ages, too…and especially how old everyone will be over time. She’ll spend hours figuring out her siblings’ ages when she is 15, 20, 50, etc. Guess it is free math practice. :)

We have four kids too. For a short period of time between my youngest son’s birthday and my oldest sons’ birthday they call themselves ducks in a row, because they go right in order. In February they’ll be 8, 9, 10, and 11 …. until April when Dylan turns 12. They love that tiny little part of the year when they’re in numerical sync.

I love the things kiddos say!! I think it’s the best material for our blogs!

I agree, Jacqueline. At some point I’ll list a bunch of quotes that we’ve been keeping track of.
