County Fair Week

The kids are having fun on the rides this week at the county fair.  With four kids this year plus our eight year old niece it turned out to be quite an adventure.  There were all the animals to look at, the rides, the entertainment, and oh yes, the political groups.  I like messing with them.  I have only voted right down party lines a few times.  I usually find someone of the other party I like or maybe an independent is running.  So I was wearing stickers from both parties until I got a few too many strange looks.  Anyway, at the Democratic table I caught part of a conversation where someone was saying that “we would be free in a few months”.  Obviously she meant that Obama would win and everything would be better.  I pointed out to her that the Democrats were here at this booth and the Republicans were at the booth fifty feet away and nobody was shooting at anyone else.  Where else in the world can we so easily shift the power of government so peacefully every four to eight years?  We are free now.  Thank You God.  Please vote.  It is your responsibility.  And while you’re at it vote for your money.  This time it’s not a political thing.  By voting for your money you are deciding to pay the bank the minimum interest you can get away with.  Some people are saving an enormous amount of money without even feeling it.  Find out more at debtisoptional.com
